Sou Manu Paredes, piloto profissional de kart da equipe D. Racing na principal categoria do kartismo nacional, a OKN. Sou Paulistano e moro na capital onde curso o 2o ano de Ensino Médio e o 4o ano de High School.
A disciplina me tornou federado na Confederação Brasileira de Automobilismo (CBA) e hoje participo de competições de alto nível no país e fora. Sou um cara que tem velocidade no sangue e me dedico ao máximo para aumentar dia a dia minha performance na pista. Gosto de assuntos ligados à mentalidade esportiva, nutrição, bem estar, alta performance, carros e desenvolvimento pessoal.

I'm Manu Paredes, a professional kart driver for the D. Racing team in the main category of national karting, OKN. I'm from São Paulo and live in the capital where I'm in my 2nd year of high school and my 4th year of high school.
This discipline made me a member of the Brazilian Automobile Confederation (CBA) and today I participate in high-level competitions in the country and abroad. I'm a guy who has speed in my blood and I dedicate myself to the maximum to improve my performance on the track every day. I like subjects related to sports mentality, nutrition, well-being, high performance, cars and personal development.

CONHEÇA MINHA HISTÓRIA
Minha paixão por esportes começou ainda na infância, aos 4 anos lembro de assistir corridas de Fórmula 1 com meu pai - foi nessa idade que também iniciei a prática do futebol e do tênis. Daí pra frente várias outras modalidades apareceram na rotina, natação, judô e inclusive corridas de kart-indoor para sentir pela 1° vez como era correr em veículos de alta velocidade. Minha família sempre encarou o esporte como meio de desenvolvimento físico e mental e carrego esse valor comigo sempre.
Iniciei a minha carreira de piloto em 2022 quando fui convidado a participar da minha primeira equipe de kart, a PCR Motorsport, no kartódromo Aldeia da Serra em São Paulo. Nesse ano articipei do campeonato V11 Aldea Cup e desde 2023 participo dos campeonatos Copa Light de São Paulo, Open Copa Brasil, Copa Brasil e Campeonato Brasileiro de Kart na equipe D Racing, onde iniciei na Categoria Sprinter e migrei para a OKN. Quando olho pra minha trajetória busco e valorizo a evolução. Quero seguir incrementando minha performance e resultados, o foco é sempre um degrau a mais na escada, até atingir o topo!

My passion for sports began in my childhood. At the age of 4, I remember watching Formula 1 races with my father. It was at this age that I also started playing soccer and tennis. From then on, several other sports became part of my routine, such as swimming, judo, and even indoor kart racing, which gave me the first taste of what it was like to race high-speed vehicles. My family has always seen sports as a means of physical and mental development, and I have always carried this value with me.
I began my racing career in 2022 when I was invited to join my first kart team, PCR Motorsport, at the Aldeia da Serra kart track in São Paulo. That year, I participated in the V11 Aldea Cup championship, and since 2023, I have participated in the São Paulo Light Cup, Open Copa Brasil, Copa Brasil, and Brazilian Kart Championship championships with the D Racing team, where I started in the Sprinter Category and moved to the OKN. When I look back on my career, I seek and value evolution. I want to continue improving my performance and results, the focus is always on one more step on the ladder, until I reach the top!
ROTINA
Além dos meus estudos, realizo regularmente atividade física de condicionamento físico, musculação, tenis, futebol e boxing e mantenho uma dieta com adequado aporte de proteínas, calorias e nutrientes que me permitem manter um bom estado físico para meus treinos de kart. Realizo treinos semanais no Kartódromo de Interlagos sobre a supervisão do meu coach de pilotagem, dos dados de telemetria e o incansável trabalho do chefe de equipe, do engenheiro de motor e mecânicos do meu kart.

In addition to my studies, I regularly engage in physical conditioning activities such as weightlifting, tennis, soccer, and boxing, maintaining a diet with adequate protein, calories, and nutrients that allow me to stay in good physical shape for my karting training. I have weekly training sessions at the Interlagos Ayrton Senna Kart Track under the supervision of my driving coach, using telemetry data, and benefiting from the tireless work of the team manager, engine engineer, and kart mechanics.
